POSITIVITY IN THE WORLD OF CHAOS


 History has witnessed, that whenever there prevails darkness and chaos in the world, the human race yet again finds a way to strive through it all. “Perhaps the butterfly is the proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness, yet still can be something beautiful” Beau Taplin In the modern age of social media, we are no strangers to what goes on around the world. We have access to even the minute details of the most scandalous and secretive events in the world. And in this day and time, the internet has become the all-time broadcaster of good and bad news. Though we often find ourselves more indulged in the chaotic news of the world like for instance, the Ukrainian invasion, economic and political instability in Afghanistan, Pakistan economic crisis, the Israel-Palestine war, COVID-19, and countless other news of death, politics, diseases, war, and depression. As important as it is to discuss these issues in the world, people often overshadow the little pieces of positivity that come about. These little positive things can be a measure of things from the grand gestures of kindness too as small as a smile on a child’s face after he gets a cup of ice cream. The world is filled with good positive news as much as it is filled with bad ones. Though it is necessary for us to acknowledge the positivity in the world as it may alter the way we perceive our life. Effects of a positive attitude Realizing and appreciating the good things in our life can broadly impact our mental and physical health. According to some Clinical reports, it improves life span, lowers the rates of depression and stress, reduces anger issues and mood swings, overall improves the well-being of an individual, and gives them a chance to live a happy life. In conclusion, humans have always found a way to shine some light in the world when it was filled with utter darkness, a way to be a little hopeful and positive in times of distress. Conceding to the little positive things in this world is what makes life truly lived and unrepeatable.
