CORRUPTION

Corruption has become a part of every existing system and is pushing nations to a dead end. Favoritism, nepotism, misappropriate use of public funds and bribery are on the rise. In Pakistan, the position is very bad. The devil of corruption is reigning in every field of national activity. The condition of Government offices is very deplorable. It is said that the paper moves only when some silver weight is put on it. There are many such departments where corruption has become a norm of their life. Islam explicitly condemns the existence of corruption in every form. The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) declared that, “Damned is the bribe taker and the bribe giver. And he who goes between them.” The presence of corruption and corrupt practices play a pivotal role to deteriorate law and order, shackle the economy which leads to inflation, unemployment and poverty in the country. When God created Adam, the angels questioned God, “Will you make there in those who sow the seeds of corruption and spill blood?” God replied, “Indeed, I know that which you do not know.” There exist natural evils within the universe, as well as within man. There natural balance in the reality of the universe. God expects us to survive and thus, eradicate corruption.
