In today’s credulous world, myth is often confused with fact. Due to the uncountable number of myths about AI, it is challenging to differentiate reality from fantasy. As the Oxford Dictionary defines it, Artificial Intelligence is the theory and development of computer systems that can perform tasks usually requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decisionmaking, translation, and interpretation. When most people think about AI, they imagine a future where automation will put them out of their job or lead to the extinction of mankind. However, if we look at the actual capabilities of AI, it becomes clear that something like this is impossible. The reason is that AI can never gain consciousness or in simpler terms have free will. Today’s AI programs are created with a narrow focus, which does not allow them to function outside their prescribed task. They cannot reproduce the learning from their knowledge and apply it in the real world because their sole purpose is to perform well-defined tasks with precision and speed. AI has the potential to benefit humanity in a myriad of ways. Thanks to innovative research, AI has begun to help people in a variety of ways- from aiding hospitals in diagnosing diseases to predicting financial trends. it automates many of the tasks that people currently do on a daily basis. AI can also help us to prevent accidents and save lives. AI can be used to smartly manage our resources, helping us to achieve our goals while conserving valuable resources. As AI continues to develop, it is clear that it has the potential to benefit humanity in ways that we could never have imagined. For example, AI could be used to help people with disabilities live more independent lives. It could even be used to create new medicines and vaccines There is no telling what kinds of amazing things will be done with AI in the future- it is clear that this field is only growing stronger and more important every day.
