A PROMISE

 

Let’s live a life with no regrets this time,

I want to feel a life just one more time,

I know life comes with ups and downs,

But hey sister! Don’t worry because I promise I’ll 

be your clown,

Let me hug you one last time and I promise I’ll 

heal your scars for lifetime,

With you by my side I can achieve it all because 

deep down I know you won’t let me fall,

Let’s share whatever we have,

I’ll share your fears and you’ll share my tears,

It will be a beautiful journey for both of us,

But we will find demons who’ll always curse and 

will try to create a fuss,

It’s a long dark path but together we can light it,

So just hold my hand,

Trust me once and I promise that together we will 

fight it, defeat it, ignite it,

I promise you that there’s a better tomorrow with 

no pain, no regrets, no betrayal and no sorrow,

Together we’ll live a beautiful life,

This time I promise we’ll live and won’t just
