In the deep city underground
Where there’s no light and sound
Just below Earth’s floor
You may not know but rats explore
The big old plant empire starts to grow
Just beside the river where the boats row
As they hear someone leap
They try to go down very deep
Some creatures sleep and don’t care
While digging soil, others dare
