THE MIDNIGHT LAKE

Once, there was a lake across the countryside in a city of North Africa. People there used to say that the lake disappeared at day time and could only be seen at night. Many explorers tried but could not find this lake anywhere. One day an explorer named Alan Wolfe, while he was drinking coffee got to know about this lake. He set off for Africa. There he asked the ancient ancestors about it and they showed him the right path because they liked Alan who they thought had a pure heart. At first he could not see anything but he waited and waited. At night, when he was sleeping, he suddenly woke up and he saw the most magnificent view in front of him. He saw something glowing. He couldn’t believe his eyes. He saw a huge lake with sparkly water, shinning like diamonds on the floor. He slowly laid his hand in the glistening water and his eyes were glowing blue. Next day, the world was introduced to this lake through a picture which Alan had taken;his picture with the lake and article titled ‘The Midnight Lake’ introduced that wonder of nature to the world.
