THE DISAPPEARING SHOES

In a land far away, there lived two shoemakers called JUMPY and GRUMPY. Grumpy was just like his name while Jumpy was jolly and loved by everyone. They owned a big ship called THE SHOE BOOTH! Oh, how much they just earned. Their shoes were known to people far away from their village and they got orders from everywhere in the world. They had a vast business and soon it grew so much, that they made pages for online shopping. Grumpy noted the orders while Jumpy gathered the crowd of customers by his jolly nature. With the passage of time, they became so rich that all the interest of hardworking had gone away from them. They became lazy but still their shoes were loved! Meetings started in towns and villages and they started to get lots of orders. Jumpy and Grumpy started making the shoes and they mended all day and night. People loved them so much and took care of them. The people started losing their shoes. They had no clue where and how their shows disappeared. What were they going to wear now? A few moments later, a crowd was seen in the village where people were complaining about the lost shoes. People began to search for the thieves but could not find any. They went to Jumpy and Grumpy to ask for new shoes but to their bad luck the shoemakers said they were going to charge more. People agreed but the shoes kept on disappearing. Now the people were furious. One day, a passing woman came to the shoemakers and asked for red shoes. Grumpy said to wait for a while. He was casting a spell on shoes, due to which the shoes came back to him after they were sold. The woman saw him and caught him red handed. She said to the thieves to wait till morning as she was about to tell the whole village. When the people came to know about this, they were angry and went to the shop but to their misfortune the two shoemakers left with a sign board which said “We have left! Now please forgive us and get your shoes. With love, GRUMPY AND JUMPY.” The people were satisfied and as for shoemakers, they were never seen again.
