We live in the era of modernism and technology. We can’t live our lives without the support of modern science. Today, science is so much involved in our lives that it is really hard to imagine life without it. In every part of life whether it is food or recreational activities related to science. science has given a completely new look to the world. It has given us confidence. Man of the past lived a difficult life, while the man of today enjoys such a commanding position only because of science. The modern development has played a key role in the unbelievable progress of mankind. Science has its drawbacks as well, because it has been used in the field of war without any rules. Invention of weapons of destruction is a horrifying invention of science. It has shattered man’s peace of mind by making him an addict of latest devices. We can’t imagine our lives without cell phones. Moreover, all the deadly weapons can easily send the entire world back to the Stone Age. Hence, science is a double edged weapon of the modern world. It is a boon as well as a bane.
