We all were waiting for the announcement of our field trip and obviously it was a suspense for all of us that where it is going to be. Our academic coordinator announced that this year field trip will be based on camping. I was astounded with contentment and happiness on hearing, I was overjoyed as my wish was about to be fulfilled. Our school instructed us clearly about the camping and activities which were going to be held there. Finally, on the camping day, I was really excited because I would be experiencing it for the first time. I robed up my outfit and boarded on the bus. The bus took us directly on the camping site. The site was decorated impressively. There were many exciting activities on the site that were loved by all. Our beloved Principal and Coordinators were there too. The most precious and loved activity was the Scavenger Hunt which was only for the senior students. All the school fellows were there and according to the attendance list the tents were organized. Sitting in these tents was the best experience. It was not just fun but it made me realize the situation of the refugees that how they cope up with every situation when they are displaced. The best thing about the event was the live BBQ. After the Scavenger Hunt and all other activities including the “Tug of war”, we all were tired and hungry so we moved towards the food Stalls. The juniors had the food first and then it was our turn. The food was really scrumptious and mouthwatering. After that we had Ice cream in the dessert. All in all, it was a memorable experience. I believe such activities are necessary for the students as they allow them to have a break in between the studies which eventually freshen up their minds.
