MY PASSION

Passion is defined as “to have a strong interest in something”. Everyone has a dream or passion to succeed in their life. Some want to become a pilot while some want to become a doctor and so much more. These interests keep changing with time. There are also people who cannot decide on time. I’ve always had a passion to become an Aircraft Base Maintenance Engineer (AME). I’ve always been inspired and fascinated by airplanes. When I was in kindergarten, I had a lot of questions in my mind. How do planes fly? How do things work? I was only five or six years old when I started doing research on my own. I watched videos on the internet and read blogs regarding airplanes. It was very beneficial for me as I learnt something new almost every day. I started off by learning the basics of an aircraft. This included the working of engines, types of aircraft etc. As I grew up, my interest developed further and I began to learn more complex and technical things. This helped in answering a lot of questions in my mind. The career, I’m opting for is not an easy one. One is responsible for many human lives and is accountable for any mishap or any accident. Any one technical mistake can disrupt the whole structure of an aircraft. For this matter, my passion for aviation can make me successful as it is believed, “Those who don’t have a passion for aviation, will never enjoy the beauty of it.” Aviation is a field where people, from around the world, come to fulfill their dreams. I am one of these people. I am determined to fulfill my dream and I am working hard for it. I do face a lot of hurdles on the way to my destination but I never lose heart. This is because I know that hard work and determination always pay off.
