One night, I was sleeping when I heard a noise coming
from the kitchen. It was like something falling down. I
was scared.
But I felt adventurous (like in the movies), so I went
to take my torch and inspect the noise. I was walking
down the stairs quietly.
I went into the kitchen with the torch in my hand. As I
got closer to the kitchen, I got more and more afraid.
When I was walking, something hit my foot. It was a
lamp!
I started rubbing it even though I was sure that nothing
will happen as is shown in the movies. But, to my
surprise, a beautiful girl came out of the lamp, she
was wearing a purple dress and beautiful jewellery.
She said, “Hi! What’s your name?” I was shocked and
scared, but replied “Hifza.”
She said, “Oh, what a pretty name! You set me free so
you are my master.” I inquired, “Really? How?
She replied, “Yes, you rubbed the lamp and that’s how
you set this genie free. So, to pay you back, I can make
three of your wishes come true.”
“I wished for so many things, and now they will come
true!” I exclaimed with joy.
“So, my first wish is to have a bucket full of chocolates!” She gave me a bucket full of chocolates.
“My second wish is lots and lots of chips because I love
food.”
She gave me lots of chips like hundred or something.
“My third and final wish is to get lots of ice cream!”
Then, I checked the freezer and it was full of ice cream.
I heard the voice of my mum, “Wake up! It’s time for
school!”
She yelled twice and finally I woke up.
