I woke up, with a strange feeling. I couldn’t sleep at night because of a horrifying feeling if I would wake up or not. I went down and saw my younger sister writing journal on what was happening. I saw my brother Zayn shouting to Anna who was walking towards the main door. “Dad, what are you doing?” I asked. “Hon! I was looking for my medicines…Aha! found them,” he said. Zayn asked mum, “how long we had to stay at home?” and she replied, “it was way better if we just stay inside.“The government has just announced that the schools have been reopened for students as there is no more threat,” said a reporter on the news. Dad suddenly switched off the television and said, “This is all a lie.” As we reached our school, Zayn asked me to come to the cafeteria in case something happens. Suddenly, a hand banged on our car window. It was Lily. “Where are Justin and Amber?” I asked. She said that they were on their way. After our third lecture by Miss Lindy, I heard some screaming and then gun shots. I ran towards the café and saw Zayn. “Where is Anna?” I asked. Then I saw Anna coming in but her hand was bleeding badly. Then the shooting stopped. I saw mum who came to take us and when I was going out I looked back and saw Lily staring at me. Anna screamed all her way to home. “Wait! I saw Justin crying in school parking and Amber’s dead body besides him.” Then, Zayn helped mom with Anna. I know how it would have been for a 12-year-old girl to suffer so much. Suddenly the reporter said that there was an attack in school, and everyone was killed. The footage was being shown on TV. The dead bodies were of almost everyone whom I knew. I started crying. Suddenly, the door banged down and a man came rushing with a gun pointing at us. My father ran for him, but it was of no use. My mum was looking at me and screaming. I felt weird and I looked down and saw that I had been shot. Everything faded away.
