BAA- Once A Bravian, Always A Bravian

HIBBA SHAHZAD

I have been a student at Bahria Town School and College for eight years. I joined in Grade 4 and graduated after O levels. BTSC gave me a lot of memories. I did not just have an amazing relationship with my fellow students but with the teachers and the management too. I was an all-rounder in BTSC because it provided me with opportunities to show case my talent. I captained the Basketball and Cricket team of my Jinnah House for a few years, won several matches, and became the Senior School President Sports 2014-2015.

I did my A levels from Lahore Grammar School, Johar Town campus. After A levels, I took a gap year in which I gained some job experience. I am currently working at a career counseling firm, AdAstra Counselling, and doing BSC Hons. in Accounting and Finance from LUMS.

DURE FATIMA

BTSC has been my second home. Whenever I get flashbacks from the past, my eyes fill with tears of joy. My teachers were the best mentors, who I miss the most. My journey of 12 years in BTSC would’ve been so hard if I didn’t have the best teachers and friends.

The friends I made here are my BFFFFs and I know I can count on them, whenever I want to.

While I can say that the majority of my teachers were excellent, there are some that I won’t ever be able to explain just how much they impacted my entire life; like Ma’am Raabia (my English teacher), Ma’am Salma (my Urdu teacher), Ma’am Amna (my Geography teacher), Sir Suleman (my Biology teacher), they believed in me, when I didn’t even believe in myself.

If a genie gave me a chance of a wish, I’d certainly want to relive the life, I had in BTSC, I would Go back to the playing ground, the auditorium, the classroom.

It’s not like, I valued my school the entire time I studied there. Neither did I ever realize it was like my second home until I left.

Currently, I am doing BS in Business and Information Technology from Punjab University but the best days of my life were those which I had spent in BTSC. So to all those who say that they hate their school whether it’s because of your studies or it’s because of your teachers or whatever reason it might be, you will realize the worth of your school after you leave. Because things only get harder after school.

KASHMALA PERVAIZ

BTSC always felt like home. Even if I go there today after good four years, I still feel a very strong connection to those corridors, those classrooms and to that auditorium. The auditorium that has made me come where I am today. From that young 7 years old girl who started her debating career from that auditorium to this 19 years old girl who has won numerous national level, debating competitions and has won the title of ‘Best Under 19 Speaker of Pakistan’, thrice in a row. I am extremely thankful to all my teachers who always supported and encouraged me throughout my time at BTSC. Also, I will always be thankful to my friends who gave me the best school life experience that turned into good the memories I will these cherish for the rest of my life. It is because of everyone’s support and love that I have always been an all-rounder student even after I went to the college and then university. After completing my O levels from BTSC, I did my A levels from Beacon House and I am currently studying Bachelors of Law from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. No matter where I go, I can never forget the time I’ve spent at BTSC. It was the GOLDEN ERA. Every person I met at BTSC has some contribution in bringing me where I am today and I can proudly say that I am a Bravian, cause once a Bravian, ALWAYS A BRAVIAN!

HASEEB MANN

Studying at BTSC was one in a million experience I ever had; be it cherishing the queue at the cafe or just chilling in the ground with all my dudes. These are glimpses of the memories we share. Sir Saleem Kashmiri and all the teachers who moulded me into what I am today. My thanks and prayers will always be with them. My best advice for students studying there is to enjoy this time to the utmost because once this phase is gone, it will only be alive in the memories and one day when you all will together, you will remember it and smile over the wonderful time you had.  Right now, I am doing BE Mechatronics Engineering from NUST. So I am up to any help and guidance. My best wishes for Alma Mater and its students.

ALINA BUTT

Bahria Town School has laid the foundation of what I am today.

The biggest gifts that I have got from BTSC are unconditional love from teachers and my passion for basketball.

I am thankful to all my dedicated teachers from the deepest core of my heart specially Sir Arshad and Ma’am Nasreen for always believing in me.

Ma’am Nasreen’s ‘JEET KA NASHA’ has always motivated me to strive hard to achieve my little dreams.

After graduating in 2016, I made my mark in Kinnaird College where I got the opportunity to attend ‘PEAK international Basketball Camp’. Currently, I am enrolled into BBA (Banking and Finance) program at Punjab University. I recently went to play basketball from team PUNJAB in 33rd National Games’ Peshawar and got Bronze Medal after competing with several teams including Army and Wapda.

Whatever I am today, I owe it to my Alma Mater!
