ARE PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES OVERPAID?

Professional athletes are not an overpaid profession. According to me, athletes are highly talented and determined entertainers with extraordinary abilities. They compete at various levels and make a living. Those include football, baseball, basketball and the list goes on. Athletes are paid to play. These athletes work really hard and have a really tight schedule. They work for long hours to be best at what they do. Fans pay to watch them perform because they really enjoy seeing their stars. Like other entertainers, such as actors and trainers, athletes are paid a large amount for their performances. Professional athletes are not overpaid for the amount of physical and mental stress they have to undergo during their work hours. Since athletes come from all over the world, states and places. What many people fail to see in an athlete is the amount of talent in them, the beast inside them, their commitment, and finally the intense training which they go through, is not easy. The physical challenges that they endure are really astonishing. They face numerous challenges. An athlete is at the top of their game when they are young as that is the age of sheer energy. Professional athletes also face the risk of career-ending injuries when they are fighting to win a game and be the best they can. Combining all these problems, the average career of an athlete is approximately five years. We the people need to acknowledge the professional athletes so that they can continue doing their best and to win a game. If they are overpaid, then even this is also fine because the hardships that they face. So, the people need to remove the negativity from their mind and let the professionals do what they do best.
